This year our summer camp is taking place in Corsica! A beautiful island! We have a hotel right on the beach in the dream bay of the town of Calvi.

You can expect a great leisure programme with lots of fun, action and chilling out on a dream beach. You can also expect special moments with God. We always want to take time to get to know Jesus better.

FAQ's

Arrival and period of the summer camp?

The summer camp takes place from 30 August to 8 September.

Outward journey:
We will be travelling to Corsica in several 9-seater buses (cars). We will leave Karlsruhe at 7 a.m. on 30 August, arrive at the ferry in Toulon at 6 p.m. and will be in Corsica at 6 a.m. the next day. Please take snacks and drinks with you for the whole day of arrival! The first meal will be in Corsica.

Return journey:
On 7 September we will take the ferry from Corsica to France at 11 pm and from there back to Karlsruhe. Arrival will be on 8 September at around 7 pm.

How much does the summer camp cost?

If you register by 4 March, you can secure the early bird price of €599. From 5 March, the summer camp costs €649 (normal price).

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS 30.04.24.

Cancellation / Withdrawal

If the participant is unable to take part in the trip, we will unfortunately still have to charge the full tour price, as we have to book the hotel, ferry and vehicles in advance. We therefore recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance to cover the risk of cancellation.

Insurance

Everyone is responsible for their own International travel insurance which we strongly recommend! The same applies to a Travel cancellation insurancerecommend to you as well.

What should I bring?

We are accommodated in a hotel where we sleep in rooms for 4 people. Blankets, pillows etc. are provided.

What you should bring with you:

Excursions: water bottle, small rucksack, sturdy shoes, sports shoes, swimwear,
Sportswear, headgear
Towel, bath towel for the beach
Valid identification document (passport/passport ID), health insurance card
Medicine for own use, sunscreen
Notebook, Bible, pocket money
Snacks and drinks for the day of arrival

We ask you to leave unnecessary luggage at home. We only have limited space in the boot. Please contact us if you need more space than a normal travelling bag/suitcase.

Organiser and leisure management

The instructions of the activity leader must be followed. In the event of culpable violation of the recreational regulations or contravention of the instructions of the leaders, the participant may be asked to return home early by the management. Electrical devices, with the exception of mobile phones and cameras, are not permitted.

the safety of our youth.
We have put together a team to ensure the safety of the young people throughout the SummerCamp.

Is there a possibility of financial support?

If you cannot participate in the summer camp for financial reasons, please send us an email to office@alivechurch.de and we are trying to find a solution. We don't want a young person to miss the summer camp for financial reasons.
